ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES

Between dream and reality

Archaeological sites are the real must of my tours. When I want to take a walk on a archaeological site, it means that I want to detach myself a little from reality, I let go of my thoughts and I begin to imagine where I am. Slowly what look like rocks placed by chance in one place they become houses, buildings, streets, squares. Before me everything becomes threedimensional up to see people strolling down the street with their tunics, shops and ovens fully working rhythm, the sacrificial rites and the feasts that have always accompanied them, but to understand them well a site is also nice to go to the nearest museum, there what you have imagined you really see in front of you and at that point the emotion is strong. Usually the visit to a site is always linked to the visit of the nearest country, so it's like a double trip in the tour itself, we travel the place from the past nowadays, as if to say from the agora to the town square, and you will see that the centuries go by, but the people always live the same way.
