FROM MARINEO TO FICUZZA
Marineo, archaeological site, Lake Scanzano and Ficuzza wood
This path is one and only. If you go and check any page on the internet, there isn't one such a tour, especially if you propose it to a Palermitan, who lives a few kilometers away and you look as if you are talking about a distant place or who knows where. Marineo, its imposing castle and above all the archaeological site, are places unknown to many but at the same time beautiful, near Palermo and of great importance. It will also be possible to discover the archaeological museum, delight in local food, or visit the splendid anthropological museum that tells the story life and history of the place. It will be wonderful to walk along the Scanzano lake immersed in the woods foot of Rocca Busambra, in the company of the peaceful cows that live in large numbers in that area as queens in absolute freedom, to then visit Ficuzza, the hunting lodge of Ferdinando di Borbone, and the village that preserves other surprises.
